My family is the most important part of my life. I was just meant to be a Mom. I love my boys. I never tire of being around them, though that’s not to say they don’t sometimes get on my nerves. After all, kids get on your nerves at some point.
I would consider my family old-fashioned and traditional. My boys are involved in a few after school activities but not so many that we are on the run all the time. Our family meals are a priority. I grew up with family meals every night. My husband grew up with family meals every night. We want our boys to grow up experiencing the same. Activities and family time can be a delicate balance but if you make family meals a priority, you can make them happen more often than just holidays.
So, this new and improved blog will focus on what goes on around the family tables at mealtime. The talks, the laughter, the plans, the future and whatever other topics come up. Around our table, we plan weekend getaways, vacations, talk about school, friends and sometimes, sad topics like losing family members. I hope you will join me with family around the table.
