A Great Start to your Day

We love pineapple juice and recently my husband brought home Dole pineapple orange juice which, by the way, is delicious! His first thought was to mix it with some Captain Morgan Spiced Rum for a happy hour libation. Perfect for the grown-ups but the kids felt left out. While the orange pineapple juice is great on its own, there was a recipe on the carton for a shake. As I’m always looking for something new to try, I whipped it up, using the frozen strawberries in my freezer, for my youngest son. Before I could even get a taste, he consumed the whole thing! I tasted a bit that was left in the blender! Obviously it was a hit and is full of good nutrition. This is one serving but it’s easily doubled.

Pineapple Orange Shake

1 can (6 ounces) Dole Pineapple Orange Juice

1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries

1 ripe banana, peeled and cut into chunks

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Cover and blend until smooth.

Makes 1 serving.
